Our standard
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the implementation standard for this website. We treat automated checks as diagnostics, not proof of conformance — manual keyboard and screen-reader passes are part of our release checklist.
What we have implemented
- Semantic HTML landmarks, a logical heading hierarchy and a skip-to-content link.
- Full keyboard operability for navigation, forms, dialogs and the theme toggle, with visible focus indicators.
- Every input associated with a persistent label; errors identified in text, not colour alone; form status changes announced politely.
- A colour system checked for contrast in both light and dark themes.
- Reduced-motion support: entrance and reveal animations are disabled when your system requests it.
- Consent controls that are keyboard- and screen-reader-usable, and no content that pops over the page uninvited.
Known limitations
- The Workflow Readiness Check dialog is a custom widget; it supports keyboard and Escape, but we have not yet completed a full screen-reader audit of its dynamic result announcements.
- Some table content is horizontally scrollable on very narrow screens rather than reflowed.
Reporting a problem
If any part of this site is hard to use, tell us via the general enquiry form — we treat accessibility reports as defects, not feedback, and aim to fix reported blockers within one business day of reproduction.
